Topics included Bitcoin protocol mechanics, Ethereum structure and the EVM, smart contract incentive models and gas economics, asymmetric key cryptography, hashing for transaction integrity, decentralized consensus protocols, network robustness, and hard/soft forks. Hands-on lab work on a dedicated VM building an Ethereum test chain, creating accounts, mining blocks, and executing Ether transactions.
